Stephen is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and the Managing Partner of Gatama & Associates LLP.
He holds a Master of Laws degree in International Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town, a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in South Africa, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
Stephen has over fourteen years' experience practising law across a wide array of organisations, including a leading law firm, a corporate setting and a development finance institution. He has advised on the establishment of a bank in South Sudan, a port concession on a public-private partnership basis, and the transfer of assets between Kenyan public energy entities.
